What do I need to get started?

KINETIC LAB-Link runs in your smartphone browser; no app installation is required. You need a smartphone (with internet), an external battery (USB-C cable), the activation code delivered by email, and a Google or Apple account for initial registration. The box includes the dedicated sensor, Quick Start Guide, User Manual, and B-TUBE (2x size S, 2x size M).

How do I complete initial registration (STEP 1)?

Initial registration requires a Google or Apple account. 1. Scan the QR code with your smartphone or enter the URL link.kinetic-lab.com. 2. Sign in with your Google or Apple account. 3. Register your details such as your sport and concerns. Finally, enter the activation code delivered by email to complete registration.

Question 3

Where can I find my activation code?

Accepted Answer

The activation code is sent separately by email after you order online, to the email address used for your order. If you can't find the email, check both your inbox and your spam/junk folder. If you don't have an AI coaching code yet, purchase one from the KINETIC LAB STORE.

Question 4

How do I connect the sensor and external battery (STEP 2)?

Accepted Answer

Connect the dedicated sensor and external battery with a USB-C cable. When the sensor's LCD screen lights up, it is ready to measure. Always check the battery level and the screen display before measuring.

Question 5

How many points does the body scan measure, and in what order?

Accepted Answer

You measure 5 points on each side, 10 in total. Measure from the top of the body (the head) downward, in the order 1 to 10. The 5 measurement points (scalene muscle, lateral chest, anatomical snuffbox, patellar ligament, behind the medial malleolus) have exact locations on the body. Question 6

Is there any preparation for accurate measurement?

Accepted Answer

The surface condition of your skin (moisture, oils, chemicals) can cause measurement errors or fluctuating data. Before measuring: Wipe off sweat (required) with a dry towel or paper. No sunscreen, antiperspirant, or body cream; if applied, wipe off or wash away first. Keeping alcohol wipes on hand and cleaning the skin right before measuring greatly reduces errors.

Question 7

How do I send the measurement data (STEP 4)?

Accepted Answer

After measuring, use QR scan in the browser where you are logged in to AI coaching to read the QR code shown on the sensor's LCD. Once the scan completes, your measurement data is sent to AI coaching. Use the QR scan shown in the footer after logging in.

Question 8

The QR code won't scan.

Accepted Answer

Please check the following: turn on a light in dark places; check that the sensor screen (QR) isn't dirty; hold it so the entire QR fits inside the frame. After logging in to AI coaching, use the QR scan shown in the footer to read the QR code on the dedicated sensor.

Question 9

Can several people, such as family members, share one account?

Accepted Answer

Please never do this. AI coaching is a fully personal AI coach with one account per user. If several people share one account, everyone's body-balance data and results get mixed into a single history, and the AI can no longer recognize your true condition, leading to incorrect analysis and inappropriate exercise recommendations.

What can AI coaching do?

Accepted Answer

Based on your measurement data, you receive body-balance analysis plus advice and exercise suggestions tailored to your condition. You can also consult it about physical concerns or improving your performance.

How do I choose the B-TUBE size (S / M)?

Accepted Answer

AI coaching tells you the right size for each situation. Additional B-TUBE can be purchased from the KINETIC LAB STORE.

Question 12

Is this a medical device or medical service?

Accepted Answer

No. This product and service is a tool for body analysis and is not a medical device. The displayed data and analysis results are reference values for training and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease (Terms of Service, Article 3). If you have physical concerns such as illness, pain, discomfort, or a pre-existing condition, consult a physician or other professional rather than judging on your own.

Question 13

How long is the sensor's warranty period?

Accepted Answer

The warranty period for the dedicated sensor unit is one year from the date of purchase. If it fails under normal use within the warranty period and we determine it to be an initial or product defect, we respond with repair, replacement, or a substitute (Terms of Service, Article 8). Failures from drops, water damage, modification, or unauthorized repair, wear from normal use, and consumables such as sensor tip parts are not covered.

Question 14

How do subscription auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds work?

The AI cloud service is offered as monthly, annual, multi-year, prepaid, and other plans. With auto-renewal, it renews unless you cancel by the specified deadline (Terms of Service, Article 10). Prepaid usage periods and rights already purchased are, in principle, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-extendable, and non-transferable to another account.
